Help shape the future of the American Anthropological Association by self-nominating or nominating someone for the next leaders of the AAA Executive Board, Nominations Committee, and Anthropology Advocacy Council (AAC). Your participation ensures that AAA remains strong, representative, and forward-thinking. 

Any AAA member has the opportunity to nominate another member for the AAA Executive Board, Nominations Committee, and Anthropology Advocacy Council (AAC). Nominees will be contacted to complete a form to accept the nomination. Members may also self-nominate by providing a reference for a letter of recommendation (the reference does not need to be a AAA member). A final slate will be carefully curated by the Nominations Committee and approved by the AAA Board to bring valuable experience and vision for AAA’s future. Note that nominees may apply for up to three positions, but must submit materials for each position. 

Your voice matters! Take an active role in shaping AAA’s leadership by participating in the nominations process.
